Sandals, Designer Unknown. New York, 26 March 2016

Today at the Whitney Museum of American Art, I bumped into two young women who both were, I presumed, tourists from Japan. One of them was wearing a wonderful pair of sandals... so wonderful in fact that I whipped out my Android smartphone and asked her if I can photograph them. She agreed, and when I asked her who was the designer, she said she did not know.
